Happy Fall!
Timothy's B-day
"Daddy" turned 23 on October 10th... but due to my typical lateness in blogging, the pictures are being uploaded on November 1st. :) We went to Ted's (our fav. mexican restaurant in OKC) and Marble Slab Creamery. I'll let the pictures talk... (p.s. I have decided that I strongly dislike blogger! So, I'm not even gonna try to put these in the correct order.)

33 months & 4 months :)
For me, that title keeps me busy! :) But they are both so amazing!
Hadlee is talking to imaginary friends as I type. They're doing all kinds of things together - this follows up several minutes of reading books out loud (yet to herself). She is ALWAYS in motion, talking, or something! Recently, she has decided that her favorite color is blue, and I am quite sure that she'd like to see the world through blue specs! And her room is no exception... so the pretty pink "princessy" stuff?? Yeah, that's gonna be gone soon, as we make way for BLUE -- blue walls, blue decor, blue bedding... you get the idea. Mommy is NOT ready to give up on a "girly" bedroom though. And she is diligently working on ideas for incorporating daisies, sparkles, and anything else that says "girl" :) Sometimes she just about wears me out with the constant motion and continuous talking, but she is truly such a joy! She loves to help, and is actually becoming quite helpful! She is also quite (in my completely unbiased opinion! HA!) intelligent. Sometimes I wonder if her memory is almost photographic - can't believe the things she can pull up in her little brain!! And not only pull up, but process and reach conclusions. We now are truly "not alone"...no more talking over her head! :))
Tanner (who is actually the reason that I got motivated to post!) is 4 months old today! Can't believe how much he has changed and grown in 4 months. God has truly been so good to us!!!! So glad that he is healthy. He is an extremely happy baby, as long as things go his way. (lol...aren't they all?) He smiles and coos almost any time he's spoken/talked to. He is starting to really enjoy Hadlee (she's been enjoying him for months...lol!) He likes to watch her, talk to her, etc. He is not a fan of swings, bouncy seats, or anything that lays him back and might possibly put him to sleep, but he loves his bumbo seat. About his size... he's still rather little. Still very much in newborn-size clothes, but that is okay! :) Just means I have a baby longer. We tried to weigh him last week, and he showed about 11 pounds. :) But he's strong and healthy, and that's all that matters to us!! :))
Well, I gotta go get something done before the little guy gets up. Here's a pic I took today... Tanner was not impressed with the heat or the brightness - kinda gave me a "Timothy look". That look that says I'm SO over this!! :)

Hadlee & Tanner
Okay, it's very hard to take pictures of a 2 year old holding a 4 week old...especially when that 4 week old is under 6 lbs.! :) I did manage to get a few that I like. I'm hoping that as he grows, so will the quality of the pictures. lol Tanner is one day shy of 4 weeks, and Hadlee is 2 1/2 in these pictures.

Kisses...
Love the way they're both looking at each other. :)

New Addition!
Yes, Tanner Kaden has been home for several days now, but our lives have been very crazy! I'm sure all of you know that he was born April 23, @ 8:23 p.m. weighing in at 4 lbs. 5 oz. and 17 1/2 inches long. He was SOOO tiny - almost scary tiny! :) But sooo precious! He did great immediately following birth, but ended up in the NICU later that night. Unfortunately our little guy was in there for a whole two weeks! Talk about tough! Going back and forth to the NICU was anything but pleasant, but we all survived. We are so thankful to have him home now, and he seems to be healthy. So amazing to me how God has kept His hand on this little boy! With all the troubles in my pregnancy, followed by a difficult delivery, and 2 weeks in the NICU, I can't help but think that God has something special for this little bundle! Don't have time or space to recount the last 3 1/2 weeks, but God has been very good! Hadlee is adjusting well - even carried Tanner through the house last night. (Yes, her daddy was completely freaked when he looked up to see Hadlee standing there with Tanner :)) She is going to be an amazing big sister!
We feel so blessed to finally have this precious bundle at home with us and, as far as we can tell, healthy! God is good!

~ Our Favorite Little Girl ~
Sometimes I look at this little girl that God has blessed us with, and I'm so amazed!! She's NOT perfect, but she's precious - and such a joy to have around. Sometimes life around the house is somewhat "hum-drum", but I can't imagine doing anything else but being her mommy! :) We went for a walk around the park yesterday, and took some pics. Enjoy!
walking with her baby - and talkin' non-stop! :)
we live very close to the airport... here's a plane flying over as we walk. :)
