We are planning to go to Grandma & Grandpa Arender's for the Fourth, and Grandpa loves chocolate chip cookies. Also, daddy has been wanting some. So, with a little help, :) Hadlee made some cookies for the "men in her life". ;)
Measuring spoons...
smiles and a little drool... (promise it didn't go in the dough!)
flour... and, thus, the end of the pictures!

Good night, Princess...
Well, it's really late...actually early! Timothy's been working night shift for the past three weeks, but tonight is supposed to be his last "all nighter". I stay up until he gets home (around 3:15), but Hadlee goes on to bed. I went in to her room earlier, and here's what I saw. :) She likes her pacifier, but sometimes she just can't quite get it back in - and in those cases, her thumb is perfect! Sweet dreams, baby girl! Mommy loves you!!!

Brushing Teeth
Ok, for you perfect mommies who have been brushing your newborn's gums all along, just ignore this. But I just bought Hadlee her first toothbrush and toothpaste. Right now she has two bottom teeth, and her two top teeth are just poking through the gums. I decided that now was as good a time as any to begin "good dental hygiene". :) Hadlee really liked the new process! (well, actually it might have had something to do with the "berry-flavored fluoride-free toothpaste...)

Hadlee and Daddy are checking out Daddy's new toy - 20GB Dell mp3 player! (Daddy really liked the player - Hadlee really liked the box!)
SEE?? Daddy showing off his player - Hadlee showing her "box" :)

Playing Piano
Hadlee "entertained" for our company (my parents and my dad's parents). And she was quite thrilled about having an audience. She would play a little bit, and then look around to make sure they were still watching. And, of course, she had their undivided attention!
